Paul van Dyk returns to music

"Hello, Paul here.

It's been 3 months since my life changed in a way I never thought possible; it's been the most difficult challenge I have ever been through. Although there is a long way ahead for me to completely recover, I am positive, optimistic and doing absolutely everything I can to get back to my passion and share with you my love for music, to share more unforgettable moments and to live this second chance to the maximum -- to live it grateful and happier than ever.

It's very hard to write down everything I would like to say but I know a lot of you are worried, so I'll try my best…

To the dedicated team of doctors, trainers, nurses and hospital staff in Utrecht & Berlin who have helped -- and who continue to help with my medical rehabilitation and care, thank you so very much. Really, I will never be able to express the depth of my appreciation for your expertise and therapy. It feels like a miracle that I’m alive and an even bigger one that I’ll soon be able to follow my passion again, thanks to your help.

To my family, friends and team for being by my side every step of the way, I’ll be forever grateful for your love, support, encouragement and positivity over these tough months.

To the promoters, business partners and colleagues who covered for me, believed in me, allowed me the time to get better and who are welcoming me back with open arms, from the bottom of my heart…thank you. In this day and age, it’s not the norm and I’m very touched by it.

To all of you all over the world who sent love, good wishes and prayers, I want to thank each one of you who took the time for me. Above & Beyond Acoustic Tour 2016: Vocalist Announcement

Above & Beyond have revealed the vocalists who will join them on their upcoming ‘Acoustic’ tour of the world’s most iconic concert halls. In addition, the trio have added another feather to their cap by selling out the world-famous, 18,000-capacity Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA, as part of tour.

The first two names will be very familiar to Above & Beyond fans: Zoē Johnston, long-time collaborator with the band and co-writer of the Grammy nominated ‘We’re All We Need’; and Justine Suissa, the much-loved voice of OceanLab, with whom the group released the “Sirens Of The Sea” LP in 2008.

With Suissa making her acoustic debut and Johnston one of the stars of Above & Beyond’s previous acoustic run in 2013, the return of these two fan favourites is sure to heighten anticipation for the shows. Fans will also be intrigued to hear the two new vocal talents that Above & Beyond’s Jono, Tony and Paavo have lined up for the tour, which also includes stops at the Wang in Boston, the Beacon Theatre in NYC and Honolulu’s Waikiki Shell.

Cobi is the first new addition, a singer-songwriter born in the northern most part of Minnesota. Cobi’s voice travels from low valleys to high peaks while his guitar is the heartstring of his powerful live performances. Possessing story-telling qualities reminiscent of the 70s, Cobi’s single “Darker Than Dawn” is moving audiences, and quickly becoming one of the most anticipated songs of the summer. With musical influences that cross genres and generations, his songwriting style has been described as "Neil Young meets Miike Snow.”

Natalie Holmes is joining the tour, a UK singer/songwriter with a delicate and angelic voice who draws her influences from artists such as Ellie Goulding, Sara Bareilles, Bon Iver, Gabrielle Aplin (who she recently supported at Leeds O2 Academy).

Ferry Corsten este unul dintre artistii olandezi care si-a dedicat intreaga cariera muzicii trance si nu mai are nevoie de nicio prezentare. De multi ani se afla printre primii DJ din lume. Anual ocupa pozitii inalte in DJ Mag Top 100, si a primit si titluri precum “Cel Mai Bun Producator” si “Cel Mai Bun Remixer” la Ericsson Music Awards si Dancestar Awards.
 
Ferry Corsten este unul dintre cei care s-au mentinut in topurile toate care au in vedere productiile de muzica electronica. In anul 2016 Ferry Corsten anunta un come-back cu al sau alias cu care promoveaza “pure trance”-ul, Gouryella, deja ultima piesa produsa sub acest alias, Anahera, fiind una dintre cele mai bune trance tracks in 2015, chiar votata “Track Of The Year 2015” in celebra deja emisiune, A State of Trance, semnata de Armin van Buuren.

S-a nascut in 1973 in Rotterdam si face parte din trioul celor ” 3 olandezi zburatori”, alaturi de Tiesto si Armin van Buuren. Il stim pe Ferry Corsten foarte bine datorita pieselor trance create si a remixurilor. De asemenea si datorita emisiunii sale “Corsten’s Countdown”, difuzata saptamanal, pe mai toate posturile de radio de trance. Muzica lui Ferry poate fi intalnita si sub alte nume : Ferr, Dance Therapy, Party-Cruiser, Moonman si Pulp Victim sau mai celebrul “System F”.

Ferry Corsten a inceput ca DJ la 15 ani la petrecerile scolare, iar la 17 ani facea muzica intr-un studio amenajat acasa. La inceput a facut muzica hardcore (Sons Of Aliens), acid si ambient, apoi s-a oprit la trance. Primul super-hit a fost sub numele de System F cu o piesa celebra “Out Of The Blue”. A realizat si piese cu Tiesto – in 1999: Gouryella si Walhalla. Intre timp, Ferry a pus bazele propriului label, “Tsunami” impreuna cu Robert-Jan Smit.

Ferry Corsten (Olanda) a fost votat constant unul dintre cei mai buni DJ din lume in sondajele revistelor de specialitate. Ferry are 7 albume de studio si peste 21 de ani de experienta ca dj profesionist. Este unul dintre cei 3 “olandezi zburatori” din EDM, alaturide de Tiesto si Armin van Buuren. Alaturi de acestia, a avut si inca mai are numeroase colaborari ce s-au transpus in piese memorabile. Una este melodia “Gouryella” (1999, cu Tiesto). Alta ar fii “Brute” (2012, cu Armin van Buuren).

A fost o noapte de neuitat, un DJ care a dovedit de ce este cel mai bun in lume de 4 ani si, va castiga, inca un titlu peste 2 saptamani la DJ MAG 2011 ;)

Multumiri, Finlandia Romania pentru felul in care au organizat evenimentul si pentru facilitarea intrarii la concert mie si celor 2 castigatori ai invitatiilor pe care le-am oferit, la Concursul "Finlandia te trimite la Armin van Buuren", pe celalalt blog ;)

Acest concept Finlandia "Explore Midnight" a fost bine primit de catre cei care am mers la Sala Polivalenta. Prin urmare, implicarea brandului finlandez in evenimentele semnificative din muzica, alaturi de DJ de top mondial, este garantia unui eveniment reusit. Sa nu uitam, Finlandia a contribuit major, vara aceasta (5-6 august 2011) si la reusita The Mission Dance Weekend 2011 !



Nu in ultimul rand, multe multumiri prietenei Andra Zaharia pentru contributia ei majora la acest eveniment si pentru surpriza oferita - intrarea in backstage pentru o intalnire cu Armin van Buuren si cateva poze unice ;)

Cam prostuta si ideea acestui joc de-a "gradina Raiului", plus ca se termina si brusc ..

Mno, una peste alta :D (ce fel suna, "una peste alta") ramane o melodie destul de ok.

O putem numi "Queen of Clubs" - dupa numele unui album din 2010.

Nadia Ali - aceasta regina neincoronata a muzicii trance (nu house) din cluburile care se respecta (poate sunt 2-3 in toata Romania, maxim) a scos un nou single.

Totul functioneaza ireprosabil in colaborarea cu casa de muzica Armada , la fel ca si in celelalte lansari de succes, dintre care amintesc piesa atat de faina "Feels So Good" despre care v-am amintit recent.

Evident, superba interpreta originala din Pakistan, va avea succes si cu aceasta piesa pe care v-o recomand astazi, la numai cateva zile de la lansarea oficiala. Tineti aproape, pentru a afla, tot ce este nou din muzica de calitate (progressive-trance) ce nu trebuie confundata cu ritmul de "bumtzi-bumtzi" atat de obositor in cluburile din Romania ;)

Acesta face parte dintr-un trunea mondial, intitulat "Club Life Tour" si va avea loc la Arenele Romane (parcul Carol).

DASH BERLIN in Romania !

Astazi, sambata 21 mai 2011, are loc la Arenele Romane din Bucuresti, primul eveniment tematic de mare amploare din Romania : "THE LEGEND OF DREAMS" by Xteria !

Acest eveniment reuneste nume importante ale scenei trance si techno romanesti si internationale : Dash Berlin, Paul Mendez, DJ List, Phunk Investigation si Snatt & Vix.

Fanii muzicii trance vor avea parte de o noapte cu decoruri din lumea viselor frumoase : zane, printese si ingeri, dar si din partea cea mai intunecata cu demoni, monstri si vampiri.
