Acoustic Tour 2016 with Above & Beyond

Above & Beyond commented: “We’re super excited to have our good friends Justine and Zoë on board for these special shows and it’ll be a rare treat for our fans to see them perform together. Cobi and Natalie really blew us away with the quality of their voices and we can’t wait to introduce them to you all.”

Above & Beyond’s Acoustic World Tour takes in 11 iconic concert venues including Sydney Opera House, Berkeley Greek Theatre and Toronto’s Massey Hall. With over 90% of tickets already sold, fans should head quickly to aboveandbeyond.nu/acoustic to secure their seats for the few remaining shows in New York, San Francisco, Boston and Honolulu.

The tour begins this week at the Church of St John’s in Hackney on April 28, then heads to London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall on May 5 via stops in Manchester and Utrecht, with the US leg of the tour kicking off in Chicago on May 12.

Accompanying the tour will be a new studio album, featuring orchestral reworkings of fan favourites from the Above & Beyond back catalogue as well as tracks from the band’s 2015 electronic album ‘We Are All We Need’ - including dance anthems ‘We’re All We Need’ feat. Cosmic Gate (Nic Chagall & DJ Bossi) feat. J'Something - Over The Rainbow

Cosmic Gate este o trupa germana formata in anul 1999 din Nic Chagall & DJ Bossi - afiliata la respectabila casa de productie olandeza Black Hole Recordings.

Stilul lor este un pur si clasic Progressive-Trance care incanta Europa occidentala si mai putin Romania care-i scufundata in zona atat de generala a genului "house".

Cosmic Gate au avut ,in decursul timpului, colaborari cu cei mai importanti DJ si trupe din lume, amintesc doar pe : Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Paul van Dyk, Above & Beyond, OceanLab, Markus Schulz, Deadmau5, Robbie Rivera, Rank 1, John O’Callaghan, Vincent De Moor, etc .

In 2010  - Atlantic Records din SUA i-a contactat in vederea temei muzicale din filmul Avatar - remixandu-l pe James Horner cu piesa I See You.

In 2011 - Cosmic Gate au lansat albumul "Back 2 The Future" iar la finalul anului (trecut) au lansat albumul 5 din cariera lor "Wake Your Mind".

Above & Beyond in Romania : Group Therapy 2012 World Tour

Este o saptamana speciala aceasta, deoarece la finalul ei, mai exact sambata este programat concertul trupei britanice Above & Beyond in Bucuresti la World Trade Plaza.

In deschidere, va mixa  un DJ respectabil in muzica trance, promovat de catre A&B in setul lor saptamanal cu fidelitate. Este vorba despre  JAYTECH. De asemenea, romanii nostrii, singurii care fac muzica trance de calitate - SNATT & VIX vor avea un intro set probabil sau eventual un after set, in functie de cum vor decide organizatorii.

In cele ce urmeaza, va voi prezenta 3 clipuri cu formatia britanica pe care le-am filmat vara trecuta la TMDW 2011 cand ne-au incantat Gabriel & Dresden, Paul van Dyk,  Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten si Snatt & Vix.

Biletele costa 45 lei acum, respectiv 60 lei in seara concertului. Va recomand, sa va grabiti si le puteti procura cel mai bine (va recomand eu) din Oficiile Postale din cadrul Companiei Nationale Posta Romana - CNPR. De obicei, Oficiul Postal central din orasul vostru - c irca 518 locatii in intreaga tara.

In mod evident, saptamana aceasta este una speciala pentru cei care ascultam Trance - un gen de muzica care prinde usor-usor si in Romania, facandu-si loc prin noianul de beaturi repetitive enervante si acei "bumzty-bumtzy" care molesteaza urechile noastre in cluburile si asa indoielnice din RO.
Prin urmare, Sambata avem parte de un evenimet in care The Mission ne prezinta Above & Beyond si Group Therapy 2012. Ocazie cu care eu imi voi revedea si asculta trupa favorita dupa ce i-am vazut la Liberty Parade 2010 si vara trecuta la The Mission Dance Weekend pe Plaja de la Hanul Piratilor !

Ca si la concertul lui Armin van Buuren din toamna anului 2011, cei de la Finlandia Romania se vor ocupa de buna dispozitie si de asigurarea unui concept la care isi vor aduce contributia asa cum ne-au obisnuit de fiecare data.

Above & Beyond in Romania 2012 - Group Therapy World Tour !

Vestea inceputului de an este anuntarea datei de 3 martie 2012 drept cea in care favoritii mei - Above and Beyond - isi vor promova in Romania albumul "Group Therapy" intr-un turneu mondial.

Britanicii nu vin singuri, ci alaturi de Jaytech care se va ocupa de warm up - un dj cunoscut amatorilor muzicii trance si ascultatorilor fideli ai show-ului radio "Trance Around The World" (TATW) ! De asemena, vor mixa Snatt & Vix şi Andru.

Trupa de trance care ocupa locul 5 in clasamentul celor mai buni dj din lume pe 2011, a fost prezenta ultima data in Romania in vara anului trecut la Navodari. Atunci, cei care am mers la The Mission Dance Weekend, am asistat la un concert fantastic, unde am putut asculta multe dintre piesele noi de pe albumul "Group Therapy" !

Biletele costa 45 lei in avans si 60 lei la intrare. Abia astept, sa le procuram, deoarece locatia acestui prim concert important din 2012 - World Trade Plaza din Bucuresti - nu va gazdui mai mult de 2000 de fani. Din cate stiu, le puteti procura si din oficiile Posta Romana, dupa ce le-ati comandat, in prealabil, pe site-ul Bilete.Ro (care inca nu le-a pus in vanzare).

Inchei aceasta veste buna pentru fanii muzici trance, lasandu-va spre auditie piesa care reuseste de fiecare data sa imi transmita o stare unica si greu de descris in cuvinte. Dar, usor de inteles, pentru cei care o apreciaza. Probabil, cea mai buna piesa a celor de la Above and Beyond - Can't Sleep  - filmata vara trecuta la The Mission Dance Weekend 2011 la Hanul Piratilor Beach Navodari :)

On Thursday 22nd March 2012, Above & Beyond will be bringing the Group Therapy experience to Miami with a special event at the legendary Bayfront Park Amphitheatre - on the site of the world-renowned Ultra Festival.

ARTY

21 year old ARTY should need no introduction having taken the trance and house worlds by storm in the past 18 months - melding them together in a way not seen before.  2011 saw him rise to 25 in the DJMag Top 100 poll, collaborate with Dirty South and gain support from everyone from Above & Beyond and Armin to The Swedish House Mafia and Avicii.

MAT ZO

Anjunabeats' very own '"Superman", Mat Zo has consistently cemented a reputation as one of the label's most prolific, innovative and forward-thinking artists - with recent hits including "Bipolar", the Skrillex-supported "Mozart" (with Arty) and "Superman" itself. Dupa mine, este o alegere potrivita, fiind o optiune care se muleaza perfect peste stilul trupei britanice care aniverseaza episodul 400 din show-ul radio Trance Around The World (TATW).

Gareth Eemery, ocupa de cativa ani, in mod constant, una dintre pozitiile de top intre cei mai buni DJ din lume. Este si unul dintre prefereatii mei si, abia astept acest weekend, pentru o noapte alba de trance :)

Pana maine, cand vom cunoaste un alt DJ invitat special la acest concert, va doresc o zi minunata, zambete si ritmuri faine de trance, sa va invaluie ;)
